This English breakfast was top-notch! Every detail, from the beans to the toast was perfection. The service was exceptional, with a warm greeting as soon as you walk in and knowledgeable staff. Toast slathered in real butter and tea arrived promptly. Plus, we were in and out in under 35 minutes, no waiting around for lunchtime!Most importantly the plate was the right size for the breakfast.

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast this morning. A sophisticated start to the day that had me feeling like I should have my pinky out when I’m drinking my tea.Perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and just posh enough to make me question if I belong in a place this nice.Would I recommend it? Absolutely.Peter, whoever you are, you’ve set the breakfast bar unreasonably high.

Absolutely fantastic! Peter and the staff are incredibly warm and that adds to the charm of this hole-in-the-wall right opposite the Aldgate station. I had the vegetarian full English breakfast and it was just perfect. I would recommend this place to anybody that’s looking for an authentic English breakfast experience

Needed eggs before I started my day first time back in London after months and they had it scrambled to perfection and served with a smile. I haven't enjoyed non-homemade eggs in the longest while! Thanks for the lovely meal. And you open at 6am! Absolute dedication. All the best.

Peter and his team of lovely ladies helped me at a time when I wasn't doing very well. They are doing a wonderful job with the restaurant, serving delicious food and even helping people that are in trouble (without commercial benefit). I can highly recommend this cafe and have received a delicious breakfast and outstanding hospitality here. I wished more businesses were run like this and that I can come back one day

I popped into Peter's Cafe to get a proper full English breakfast inside me before a long journey back to Manchester and it didn't disappoint. From the friendly "morning!" as I walked through the door, everything was just right. Lovely staff who were also very efficient - I was seated and my order taken within a minute. The food arrived very shortly afterwards, piping hot, very tasty and plenty of it. I ordered an extra sausage because it's not a proper breakfast unless there are at least two sausages! I really enjoyed my visit (at 7:15am on a snowy Monday morning) and will definitely be back when I am in the City again. Highly recommended.

Lovely breakfast, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Had eggs on toast with a coffee for 8.75 and well worth it. Would recommend if you’re in the area!
